I was entirely appalled recently to see arts research funding questioned - in the same week as listening to a scientist working on the Hadron Collider compare science research to the arts in terms of justifying why we pursue our questions about the universe. Worth reading.
So I won't be responding directly to laughably inaccurate stories, and I encourage others to stop doing so too. On this website, direct response simply escalates the damage you are trying to oppose.
