Feels weird when I agree with Rand Paul but here we are….
Tariffs are simply taxes. Conservatives once united against new taxes. Taxing trade will mean less trade and higher prices.

Riding BART into SF today. Three uniformed fare officers got on and validated that people had paid. Have never seen this before on BART in 20+ years. Love it- I thanked the officers.
