US landowners should be able to make the decision on what to do with their land. Roughly 40% of the corn crop goes to ethanol production another 40% goes to feed livestock and between 10-15% is sent to export. If farming photons is the best usage of their land so be it.

Years of losing their shirt disrupting the auto market. It’s called carryover losses, once those run out they will begin paying. That’s the tax code, don’t like it - force a change.
