@bigdamo @pablosquire @cllrbartington Sounds like you are encouraging said boycotting. Rather bad form as a councillor - and bullying again. Customers will have to boycott all 34 Jericho shops who oppose any such scheme. As a business community - we are all saying no to this.

The view in this report is backed up by them. In fact, the situation has deteriorated further (pre Covid). Steve Lowe has 40 years experience in transport planning - much respected.

@OxBackBetter Thank you - appreciated. We are firm in our view that we oppose the scheme. We've been on Walton Street for two decades and were very happy with how things were prior to the road closure. The perfect destination shopping street full of independent shops.

Most of the 44 businesses in Jericho were doing well before the closure of Walton Street. The Jericho Traders Association is FOR the the reopening of Walton Street. Many of us have decades of experience + know what is best for our businesses.

None of them are going to want to sleep above restaurant and pub tables. There is already a residents group opposing this (quite rightly).
