@PurposeOf1 In my experience roles are usually used for cross account access. Access outside of the particular AWS account really. Anything within the account can just be handled by groups.

You're expecting too much from people that may have never had to deal with or recall basic Mean, Median and Mode.
When someone says "average life expectancy in Nigeria was 40", responding with "my grandfather lived until 130" is not a great reply. For one, the average is pulled down by a very high child mortality rate, not by the age of those who survived into adulthood. So grandpa grew to 150 but he had 9 siblings who all died before age 10. And many of his friends also died between 30-50. That's the problem.
