By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. - John 13:35 NIV

@wordy_fiend @HalfFeeLee @MikeWingerii I’ve observed these kinds of fruits in almost anyone who takes their religion seriously, no matter the religion. So, how do we determine whose “side” is truly serving God if the kind of spiritual growth you’ve mentioned above shows up in sincere believers across most traditions?

@wordy_fiend @HalfFeeLee @MikeWingerii Could you describe what the fruit you mentioned should look like?

@wordy_fiend @HalfFeeLee @MikeWingerii My apologies, replace “group” with “person.” Every person who claims to be “serving God faithfully” could claim all of the things you listed. How can an outside observer know if another person is actually serving God?

@wordy_fiend @HalfFeeLee @MikeWingerii I guess I don’t see how any of these things would distinguish one group from another. Everyone has their own convictions, love truth as they understand it, etc. etc.

@wordy_fiend @HalfFeeLee @MikeWingerii Everyone thinks their side is “serving God faithfully.” How can one know for sure?

@MikeWingerii “to proclaim how Mormon the Mormons are” **to proclaim that “Mormons” are regular people in society The campaign accomplished its purpose, but the name of the church hasn’t changed since 1838. It’s ok to prefer one’s proper name, even if one permitted a nickname for a time

@nerd_dad_4life @twm_report Money should be taken from an organization that appears to manage its financial resources well… in order to fund a broke organization that squanders resources? Anyway, taxing religious organizations would only incentivize them to assert their influence into politics.

@av3rag3wh1t3man @jaredadairbell @DailyMail I don’t think I’ve ever heard of the symbols being called “runes.” Don’t really have anything against it, and it’s the least weird part of the article lol, just never met someone who refers to them as runes 🤷♂️

@Gre29 @dominionpowers @AmericanReg1 @CapturingChrist I love Catholics and your beautiful and rich traditions, but in a contest of who’s had the bigger scandals, unfortunately y’all are going to win that one every time.
Joseph Smith- the only “pedophile” in history to 1. Ask for the parents’ blessing 2. Marry his victim 3. Do nothing sexual with his victim. 4. Leave his victim to live with her parents. …or, maybe Joseph wasn’t a pedophile and didn’t think of the SEALING as a typical marriage.

@PaulJElliott I can’t think of a single temple that could accurately be described as “ugly.” Nondescript maybe, but they’re all far from ugly.

@FerociousGents @dc_dollar Mainstream Christians should read it, even if they read it just as religious fiction. It’s got great, Christ-centered content 👍

@GuyInco15542744 @ThoughtfulSaint Some people during the Roman era had forms of indoor plumbing. Don’t know if that was the case here tho
