UPDATE: Water service has been restored at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School. All Bethel Park schools will have a regular in-person school day on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

Due to a water main break, Ben Franklin Elementary will have a Remote Learning Day on Jan. 28, 2025. All other Bethel Park schools are unaffected by this development and will operate as scheduled, including the planned 2-hour delay for staff development.

Despite the cold temperatures, all Bethel Park School District after-school activities, including athletics, performance practices, and any community events scheduled to use district facilities, will continue as planned on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Due to weather-related disruptions over the past few weeks, the second 9-week marking period at IMS and BPHS will be extended by one day. The third marking period starts on Jan 28. There will be no classes on Jan 27 (Records Day). This news does not impact students in grades K-6.

BPSD will have a Remote Learning Day today (1/16/25) due to the forecast of an all-day snowfall that meteorologists are warning could make the morning and after commutes treacherous. Students and staff are expected to follow the standard RLD procedures.

Check out the progress being made on the new Bethel Park Elementary School, being built on the campus of Neil Armstrong Middle School. The new elementary school is scheduled to open in August 2026.

Memorial Elementary will have a Remote Learning Day today due to a water main break on South Park Rd. Memorial students and staff will follow a modified 2-hour delay schedule. All other BPSD schools are unimpacted by this development and will have a standard instruction day.
