On tonight's show, I had a bad few minutes. It got away from me and I started to miss the clues in the question. It happens, we all have bad days. I don't mind, but maybe consider what you post online about people who are in the public eye, it can be damaging.

I'm really excited to be the 6th chaser on
#TheChase
. I've been working hard on this for a while now and can't wait for my episodes to air. Well the ones I win anyway.
For those of you accusing me of losing that game on purpose on
#TheChase
today a few things: 1. That would be fraud 2. You are committing libel 3. You are doing a disservice to a good team who smashed in the pushbacks 4. I will block people in future.
I've always been proud of my Irish heritage but recently found out my family actually comes from Transylvania. Now I can't even look at myself in the mirror
PSA: Anyone being abusive about contestants will never get a reply from me and will just be blocked. If you think you can do better then apply and you'll see how much harder it is on camera than on sofa.
I just spent £500 renting a limousine and found out that fee doesn't include a driver. Can't believe I spent all that money and have nothing to chauffeur it...
Reminder: it takes guts to go on
#TheChase
and all the keyboard warriors giving contestants stick for taking a low offer need to remember they are real people. I have been on both sides of the table and the low offer often makes sense. You are wrong if you think otherwise.
In Jamaica a steak and kidney pie costs £2, in St Kitts it's £1.85 and in Trinidad it's just £1.65. Its a big difference but that's just the pie rates of the Caribbean...
I'm not a fan of queuing, if there's a cool restaurant/bar/concert tickets on sale you won't find me lining up. Today is David Attenborough's birthday and to meet him I queued for 3 hours so I could say hi and get a signed copy of his book. Totally worth it.
Okay, I'm not on Beat The Chasers this time around. It's not because they don't love me or anything (how could they not?), it just was too soon to get it all sorted.
I would ask that everyone on here be civil to those that don't agree with the strikes. Everyone is entitled to their own political stance and shouldn't be abused for holding them. Let's put the civil back into civil disobedience
Sometimes I think I'm a really good quizzer, and I have my moments. But then I watch my good friend Paul smash a very respectable target with time to spare on today's episode of
#TheChase
and realise I've a bit to go yet.
The day has arrived. My stupidest moment ever will feature in
#BeatTheChasers
tonight at 8.30 on
@ITV
and
@WeAreSTV
. Tune in to see my brain pop out for a tea break while my mouth jumped behind the wheel.
Went to check on Anne Hegertbee today and she's doing fine. Lots of eggs and larvae and honey being made. Also 1.5 litres of syrup drank since last week. Thirsty work this buzziness.
Fun fact: one of the most common public holidays in the world is to celebrate independence from the UK. 62 countries around the globe celebrate this each year
I thought I scrubbed up well thanks to my style guru
@Notions__
but then Jenny came along on another level. Thanks for all the votes for Beat The Chasers for the

everyone
TFW you realise that you're sitting in exactly the same pose when staring at microscopy images for your science job and sitting staring at lists of quiz questions for your quiz job.
For some reason, I got Cheetah the chimpanzee from Tarzan crosswired in my brain. This was just so so embarrassing. I will never live this one down.

I couldn't wait anything like 365 days to read this. If you're a nerd or love words and their origins and how their meanings start and twist over time then
@susie_dent
book is for you. A delight that skips through words you thought you knew, words you should know and new ones too
Fun fact: In 2009, a retired policeman called Geraint Woolford was admitted to Abergale Hospital in Wales and ended up next to another retired policeman called Geraint Woolford. The men weren’t related, had never met and were the only two people in the UK called Geraint Woolford
We bought new patio furniture a month ago. Since then it has rained almost every day, hailed and even snowed (twice). This is clearly my fault and I'd like to apologise to everyone for causing this bad weather. Rain proof cover has however been a solid investment.
Home schooling is hard. Lots of parents struggle with subjects they've not look at in decades. If anyone needs help with science/maths leave a specific question here and I'll try to help. I've no degree in history or geography but I'll give them a try too.

if you're planning on trolling someone online or slagging off someone for their looks etc., maybe have a moment with yourself. My ma always told me manners cost nothing, but you never know the cost that is inflicted on the person you're being awful to
