I see these very much as a singular piece, an experiment into pixels and by no means the end of my journey as a creator on the blockchain.
I originally did envisage it as a 1,000 piece set. But decided I would like more control over each outcome.

3/ After some concept drawings, in March I began chatting to a number of large ordinals holders, and believers including

. I was in a huge number of 1 on 1 chats sharing early concepts of what I thought I could bring to the Ordinal table.

1/ The idea began back on 1st January 2024, when I drew this as my 'Daily Comic' reflecting on the rise of

within the Ordinal space. My caption was something like 'I didn't get a Node Monkes honorary, so I made my own'.

, renowned pixel artists in the space, and asked for some feedback.
The feedback was great and pushed me back into a larger canvas, with a more detailed look, and that's when they started to take

8/ In a typical 10k collection, e.g.
@BoredApeYC
and the likes, we have around 200 traits.
However in a 100 1/1 collection like this I have the equivalent of about 500 traits, as each one has typically around 5 unique traits + the shading that is unique to each one.

2/ Due to the positive reception my try at pixel art received, on the 4th January I tweeted "Boldinals." But I sat on the idea for over 2 months wondering how best to approach it given I wasn't confident in my pixel work.

7/ Initially I saw this as a 1k - 10k collection, and I started the Twitter/X page with that in mind.
But I didn't like the lack of control that gave me in each output. I drew well over 300 traits before deciding to go to a 100 1/1 collection.
