When @CAVEMPT asked me to make a tape for their amazing series I knew I had to take it back to my roots.  “Cav Empt FM: Drivetime With Bok Bok” is inspired by my own tapes of pirate radio from the early 00s (recorded while listening to stations such as De Ja Vu, Rinse FM, Raw Blaze & many more). I wanted to create an ode to endless, rolling momentum, powered by dark garage, 8bar, early grime, original dubstep & loopy techno drum trax. It’s music designed to soundtrack flying down the Westway or Purley Way or Interstate75 or Shuto Expressway at 80mph.
