Honest face was the first song I did the bass for where it felt like I wasn’t just trying to sit in the background. Also one of the songs that started my love of the bass

A year ago today we released our first studio single and said goodbye to our beds. Name of the song seems quite fitting for the crazy times we are living in. It Won’t Always Be Like This . INHALER X

loved jamming this song with the lads when we finally got to see eachother again. The descending riff me and Josh play at the outro is very fun to play. Also this song is pretty much an Irish jig if you haven’t copped.

honest face The bass line was based off an old inhaler demo from when we were dead young that used to be played on the guitar for a chorus. Wondering if we have a recording of that somewhere.

the original demo had elis vocal singing in my sleep at the top of his lungs and the music holding on one chord which I always loved. Quite unique. Then we had the guitar and bass jump around it with the keys holding

Might be my favorite song to play live. Playing this and singing was a bit of a feat but got there in the end thanks to the p word. That’s practice for all of you wondering

our poppiest song. Joshs guitar on this reminds me of a one take funk brothers tune for the supremes or something. Definitely our bounciest song and a direction we love.

the outro might be my favorite on the album. Nice little moment where the titles said which rounds the song off nicely. Also one of my favorite outros on the bass too. Love the crescendo at the end

used to be a pop song that wasn’t going to amount to much, but the end was something similar to what’s been recorded. Thought it worked really nicely as an interlude

the key lard in the break towards the end used to be the main hook of the original demo of this song. Always knew it was a great part and delighted we kept it and got it in
