@EmiliasPookie @SnowPunDrop @LilineSara91932 Don’t get me wrong I love the actual plot line of arc 5, but after it gets fully animated I don’t think I’ll ever have much reason to read it, unlike 4.

@EmiliasPookie @LilineSara91932 Both. WN is significantly worse in that aspect because of the infamous Lilliana pov, and I did still enjoy reading the LN a lot, I just can’t find as much satisfaction rereading it as the likes of 4, 6, and 7/8.

@LilineSara91932 In my opinion it’s seriously dangerous in the long run to overhype the anime adaption of arc 6. It would need an entirely unique direction style from the other 3 seasons to get even close to expectation, and even then it’s just perfect in novel form exclusively.

@EmiliasPookie @LilineSara91932 Honestly I struggle to reread arc 5 at all. The emotional moments aren’t nearly as peak as most other arcs, and Tappeis writing for fight scenes wasn’t as good as it was in 6-9.

@Gabriel7075746 I can only partially agree. It can’t possibly live up to the standards of the novel, but with enough time, care, direction, and proper internal monologue/narrator, it’s still gonna be fantastic. It’s just the most difficult to adapt content so far.
