@lakiw @ErrataRob Fun fact: the reason Ethernet cables have a max length and frames a min size is so that collisions will always be detected by both stations. WiFi has a “hidden station” issue which prevents such a simple solution so it uses L1 ACKs to inform it of transmission success.

@RaphalD7 @anumness Seems like a perfect life-lesson to me. You're constantly surrounded by people in positions of authority that believe incorrect (e.g. 1/0 = 0) and sometimes dangerous (e.g. religion) things. Sometimes you laugh, sometimes argue, sometimes educate, sometimes you navigate around.

@CmonMattTHINK The more I think about it the less mind blowing it seems. Among the many elements of ℚ are all the ones that can have (113/355) factored out of them. So when you multiply these by (355/113) the two cancel so even elements like 1/1 are still there after multiplication.

@RaphalD7 @idropFbombs It does give you great insight into their thought process though! Many people are unable to judge complex topics on their logical, technical, or scientific merits. So instead, they adopt a contrarian viewpoint because it makes them feel smarter than the majority.
