My hc is that even though he could compel you he prefers to charm, so your obedience would feel more natural.

This dialogue is another example of AA giving you free reign bc he can take it away whenever he wants.
While SpwnA knows he has to healthily engage/respect the relationship for things to work and expects you to do the same.

While BG3 will be a challenge to outperform, assuming BG4 is going to be worse before anyone's working on it, after all the work Larian puts in to lift up others in the industry, is disheartening.

I feel much the same way!
Forgive the blab, but genderlocked romances contributed to feeling that I have to present a certain way if I want to be loved.
BG3 has done much for my trans indentity in allowing my fave to love me regardless of my body type.
I understand the argument that gender-locked romances may add a touch of realism and/or believability to a game but as a queer I don’t rly care for realism in RPGs where I can romance NPCs + there’s no way just bc a character is gay they would 100% be into my character anyways?
