When a woman steps “out of line”, certain pastors /theologians are collectively quick to denounce it, even decry theological drift. But when a man dehumanizes a woman, these same men are collectively silent. We hear what they say. And we hear what they don’t.

Owen, I say this charitably: This is an appeal to ontology. If males image/reflect Christ to a greater degree — not just different, greater — by virtue of their maleness, that’s an ontological claim. That’s the whole ballgame. The premise of complementarianism breaks down.
