@fa1zvn VCs raise from endowments, HNWI, and pension funds. PE funds use leveraged buyouts, I think you may be referring to that. Convertible notes are loans but SAFEs are not. The standard SAFE has no liquidation preference.

@__lostin__ @inshAllahfi staking rewards are the result of securing the network. it is not the same as interest on a loan.

RT @inshAllahfi: Sorry, did we say 19,000 SOL? Scratch that. In just a month of private-access staking, we’ve doubled. 37,800 SOL staked…

Machaan, I think you mean well and are a first principles thinker. I see a lot of talk about Muslim terrorists. Not much about Hindutva? Conincidence or not?
END OF BLUE EMPIRE All right. Let me now address the Indian nationalist audience, and explain why they too should be supporting DOGE. The simple reason is that DOGE is defunding the Blue American Empire — and thereby destroying India's foreign and domestic enemies. Because defunding USAID means DOGE is defunding anti-national activists, Hinduphobic professors, far left journalists, Bangladeshi fundamentalists, and Pakistani terrorists. As just one example from 2023, here's a USAID-backed NGO linked to the Mumbai Massacre: This shouldn't be surprising. You already know that Blue Americans fund BLM and Antifa in the US, and terrorists and fundamentalists in the Middle East. Well, they back the equivalents in India. Until now. Because DOGE is essentially ending Blue American colonialism. Of course, DOGE is doing this for its own reasons, which include shattering blue power centers and saving money for Red Americans. But it is doing it. And this presents the greatest opportunity for India since the fall of the USSR. It is India's third independence moment: first from British colonialism, then from Fabian socialism, and now from Democrat-funded leftism. As we will see in the following weeks and months, India's Lutyens left cannot survive without Blue American backing. They're waiting for instructions from Democrats...and wires of printed money from the Fed...wires that will never come again. So the new center of discourse in India may be between the technocapitalist center and the Indian nationalist right, with some influence from the genuinely liberal center-left — but none from any Blue American pawns. We have to see the bigger picture. Internet comments aren't funding anti-Indian terrorists, but Western leftists sure are. Or were.

Pakistani hospitality is preparing your guest for hibernation by stuffing their tummy with so much delicious food that their only rational choice is to lay down on a charpai. پاک کھانا اور مہمان نوازی زندہ باد
The hospitality Onija experienced is not unique, as a guest in Pakistan I felt it. I am glad the world knows Pakistan is a country of warm people.

it’s true, initially nerds built cool stuff out of love. Unix, Linux, GIMP, and so much of open source today which has been hijacked. We need to ban B2B SaaS until we figure out what the hell is going on.
The people who built Silicon Valley and changed the world in incredible ways are gone. Much of the current generation are hype mongers, asset gatherers, get rich quick gurus, ponzi schemers and corrupt oligarchs.

I understand attachment to animals. My dad grew up on a chicken farm with 10,000 chickens, many guard dogs, and house cats. But they never put them on a pedestal of a human child. Please, it’s just an animal.
Yesterday, my wife and I laid to rest our cat son, Darth. Our hearts are hurting. We will always miss and love him. Two years ago, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in his front leg. We had his limb removed, and he thrived as a hopping tripod. A year later, in his annual chest x-ray, we were shocked to learn his cancer had metastasized and that he had 4-6 weeks. We vowed to make every day he had left as peaceful and loving as possible. Out of sheer force of will and love, Darth fought his very aggressive cancer without medical intervention to give his family a whole extra year with him. His illness won't define him. His mom and I will always remember him for his incredible sweetness, his hilarious hiding abilities while reappearing only for his favorite humans, and his love for his yellow catnip bananas, grandma's lettuce, high places, cheek massages, and for always being nearby. We are grateful to be his parents.

@ZabAkbar @DrShadeeElmasry @DarulQasim For Sh Amin and his students who understand the maqasid, fine. But it’s a dangerous opinion for the masses
