You are getting at something I've been thinking about and trying to articulate for a while, still haven't nailed it (cc @ekrahm we talked about this like 6 months ago) Would love to refine the framing because it's important, this over indexing on right / left curve made sense for niche crypto but idk if it works for mainstream crypto Taylor Swift is mid curve but 80 million monthly Spotify listeners (who aren't hunting Swift token) isn't bad

Remember this does not mean memecoins can't be used as tools for building good products It just means the product can't be degenerate gambling
I think memecoins will create a whole new generation of influencers. Today’s influencers build up an audience then monetize indirectly by slapping their name on shitty products (Logan Paul lunchables). The next gen will launch a coin and be laser focused on generating attention and creating value for holders. The benefit of this shift will be: 1. A way for early followers to not only support influencers but participate in their success 2. Monetize more directly and remove the need for shitty products no one wants 3. Eventually get access to a larger audience size It’s only a matter of time.
