She manipulated Leon once; and is otherwise seen in the franchise with character development. Yes, she’s a spy, but she actively goes against her occupation numerous times? She was hired by Wesker in 4; and doesn’t give him the Amber.

Ada Wong is a protagonist, you don’t have to be good to be one. Protagonists can be good/neutral/villainous. An antagonist is simply an opposing force. So in a book, if we’re playing from ABC’s perspective, and ABC is the villain, then XYZ (the hero) is the antagonist.

Ada Wong has changed, which is noticeable in RE4R, if you want to base it off of that. She aids Leon without asking for anything in return; nor does she use him again like she did in 2. Luis’ arc was very important to both Ada and Leon’s characters.

This is like my newest pet peeve, because people are acting like 27 is old, when it’s not at all. Nick sounded like how I would expect a 27 yo to sound? He also really did such a huge gap of 6 years so well, and I enjoyed all of his performances.

I also never really see Claire dating someone like Leon, as he’s kinda a goody two shoes— which somewhat becomes his own downfall, as he’s essentially a goody two shoes for the government.
Claire is more “rebellious” in that sense, and she’s more on her own with her own agenda.

She used* him, regardless of your opinion on the ship (cause idgaf), I just wish people recognized she didn’t use Leon in 4R at all. She consistently helped him back-to-back, and Leon and Luis are so important to her development. She’s only used Leon once, which is in 2R.

I believe it was stupid of Capcom to do the alternative ending, her dying in Leon’s arms was the canon campaign in 2 og and they were easily able to explain her escape within the Umbrella Chronicles, which made perfect sense to me. It just doesn’t apply to Ada falling,

I would disagree with the sentiment that Aeon is abusive even if Ada manipulated him because throughout the rest of the series, she doesn’t manipulate him and in RE4R, is somewhat more honest with him, or she doesn’t answer at all which isn’t lying.
