Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez have announced they won the arbitration ruling for ownership of the Minnesota Timberwolves. All that remains is approval from the NBA's board of governors, which I have heard is not an obstacle. Lore an Rodriguez will be the owners of the Wolves.

@djkgamc @mattyglesias @brian_armstrong That's the thing about the CFPB, a lot of scammy, anti-consumer policy was legal until these guidelines were in place. It doesn't violate due process to ask banks to make consumers whole when banks have been misleading on purpose.

Private equity + monopoly power = hell on earth.
This was one of the most appalling stories I’ve ever looked into: A private equity termite rolled up the fire-truck manufacturing industry between 2016 and 2020—and has spent the last 5 years cashing in: doubling the price of fire apparatus, delaying order deliveries for years on end, and contributing to a crisis of preparedness at fire departments around the country.

@NicholasMMiller I love the creative passing game that KOC has brought here, but I think you're right about the run. Being able to be multiple on offense and win in different ways is so important. This team was farther away from contention than we thought.

@OmahaProd Guaranteed there's a rule change because of this play. They should be able to call a penalty if the play isn't ruled a fumble. Only options are penalty or TD. Leave it to MN sports teams to get rules changed because of BS calls in the playoffs.

@ryanexpansion @HeatherOleson1 @ArtemisConsort The argument I made applies to personal and business finances. A small business with fluctuating revenue should probably try and keep fixed expenses low. Depends on the business.

@ohmyrage3 @HeatherOleson1 @ArtemisConsort I think a business should try to reduce other expenses before downsizing staff but in this small business case yeah, gotta take the hit somewhere.
