@Grownded Sweden has always struggled with accepting religious minorities in their society. My ancestors came from Sweden and left after they joined the Church due to persecution.

@barlowna I like that you saw the connection to the 10 Virgins. You are correct that it isn't our oil who heals, but Christ's. To go even deeper, I think our Gethsemane is where Christ gives us His oil. In essence, He gives us His oil extracted from suffering our sufferings.

@KathleenforUtah Habbakuk 2:20 is on the wall in the lobby of the Idaho Falls Temple. It is a good reminder why we should have quiet reverence in the temple.

But, that denial of Jesus' request didn't mean He didn't bless Jesus. We learn in Luke 22:43 that the Father sent an angel from heaven to strengthen Jesus while He suffered.
