🌌UPDATE🌌 We’re exploring options for people to cover shipping costs to receive items we have. Since there’s been interest, we want to review this carefully before moving forward. More details will be shared once we have a clear plan. Thank you for your patience and support.

We understand this is a frustrating situation, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve it responsibly.

We want to get the planners out, but due to the weight of the packages and rising shipping costs (which can be up to $100 for international shipping), we are unable to fund this ourselves and are working desperately to find a solution.

At this time, none of the mods can front the cost for reimbursements or shipping, as thousands of dollars have been lost.

While we hope there may still be some funds recoverable, we want to be transparent that it may be limited or impossible, as the transaction dates back to last year. Additionally, a Stripe refund is being attempted, and we are hoping this may help recover some funds.

At the moment, our Head Mod has reached out to another experienced Finance Mod for guidance. Following their advice, she will also be contacting her bank to see if a dedicated representative can assist with the transfer that was sent to our Finance Mod after preorders closed.

Our Head Mod has reviewed potential next steps, including small claims court, but pursuing legal action could expose us to copyright infringement liability from the BNHA brand. For this reason, we are currently exploring alternative solutions.

Overnight, we also discovered another zine that she was holding funds for, which we were previously unaware of, has likely lost their money as well. The roommate has stated that when questioned, Shini/Finance Mod said, "They think there’s some money left."

Unfortunately, we have learned from a close acquaintance of the roommate, that funds from our zine, as well as multiple other zines that the Finance Mod was involved in, have been stolen, and the money is gone.

🌌 UPDATE 🌌 We want to provide an update regarding the recent situation with our Finance Mod, @dragonshadow02. The letter sent to her was received and signed for, but she has not responded.

🌌 UPDATE 🌌 Our Head Mod will be issuing a cease and desist to the Finance Mod this week, with signature confirmation to ensure delivery. Once signed for, she’ll have 5 business days to respond before we proceed with small claims court paperwork. Thank you for your patience.

That said, our Head Mod’s attorney is currently looking into possible next steps, since zines lack a formal legal structure. Fortunately, we had a Mod Agreement signed beforehand that helps us manage these challenges. We truly appreciate your patience during this process!

🌌UPDATE🌌 We’ve heard from the Finance Mod’s roommate that her health has taken a serious downturn. She’s been trying to fulfill her duties as best she can, but progress has been slow. The roommate assured us nothing dishonest is happening, just really unfortunate timing!

🌌 UPDATE 🌌 After a week of silence and our Head Mod’s attempts to reach out, we’ve learned our Finance Mod has been hospitalized without phone access. She’s briefly replied to two other zines, but not us yet. We’ll update as soon as we know more! Thank you for your patience!

🌌 UPDATE 🌌 Hello, everyone! We are still waiting on the refund for planners, which is expected by the end of this month! Regarding merch manu, we are around day 100 of the 120-day required period before we may submit a refund request!

As we receive updates on things, we will update here. Once again, we apologize. This is not the project we planned and worked on, and it is disappointing that one person on the mod team can ruin months and months of hard work.
