Thursday morning. It’s freezing outside but the coffee is hot. I’m listening to Forever Dolphin Love and tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. Every day since late January i have woken up to the most horrible news on the timeline. Selfish bullies disguised as leaders and a culture of apathy brews steadily as we survive. It’s becoming more difficult to be a beacon of hope to my friends who are struggling and i wish i had more to give. I saw that the Lofi Beats girl is still doing her thing and i envy her consistently zen state in an unstable world. She reminds me of a different time. I miss the corner teriyaki place that burned down in 2020. I care so much about other people’s cats and my parents don’t know anything about me. The earth keeps spinning and an asteroid might strike within our lifetime. I hope everyone will be okay in the end.
