Happy New Year! 2025 is a Holy Year in the Catholic Church, and a YEAR OF “HOPE THAT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT”! We look back at a very tough year for Kenyans and with great hope look forward to a year where we can truly address our ailing problems… We sincerely Hope to see the abducted back with us alive… Hope our leaders will listen and become humble… Hope Kenyans will shun corruption and compromise… Hope we can all commit to reject insults, manipulation and lies… Hope we can try to be better people, better Christians!! We have a duty to build a Truly Blessed Kenya!

Jesus, our Saviour, was born in poverty and humility. He was rejected & persecuted by the mighty of the world. How we pray Our Nation would listen to Gods voice! In our pride, we often prefer to hear the “voice of the world”, the “clamor of commerce“, “the cacophony of the false promises”, “the litanies of self praise”!Let us tune ourselves to the Heart of God, that speaks truth, & reaches out to care and to uplift, to love and to show mercy!Christmas is about letting God into our lives! The culture of individual gain, jostling unfairly and unethically for space, even on the road… Bribes and favours for service, even for “marks” in schools has become synonymous with Kenya, our rotten Culture. Courage and Gods grace is needed to change it! Make a Pact with God!!

On Pope Francis Document: A clarification from Kenyan Catholic Bishops. Basically we as priests and as Church must give blessings to anyone who honestly asks for them.This is not about approval or blessing same-sex unions. All sinners need blessing on their way to Truth and God.
