Earlier today, I had the honour of delivering the vote of thanks at the groundbreaking ceremony and flag-off of the development and remodelling of the Osogbo City Stadium Sports Complex. It was a privilege to appreciate our performing Governor @AAdeleke_01 for his unwavering commitment to revitalising the sports sector in Osun State. His administration's increase in athletes' wages, better welfare and other unprecedented benefits has undoubtedly improved sports development in the state. This progress is evident in the outstanding performances of our teams, including the Osun United FC and Osun Babes. I extend my special appreciation to the Deputy Governor of Osun State, Prince Kola Adewusi, whose leadership as Commissioner for Sports and Special Needs made these achievements possible. My sincere gratitude also goes to the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, @AOEgbedun for his presence, as well as to Commissioners, Special Advisers, distinguished guests, members of the press, athletes, and sports enthusiasts who graced the occasion. Together, we will build a stronger and better sports culture in Osun State!
