First of all yes, it should be solved. The value extraction is simply too much. Especially for such a consumer focused chain as @BNBCHAIN - About 30% of blocks include at least one sandwich trade. - about 4-6% of DEX users are affected by sandwich attacks, which amounts to 20-45k actual accounts. - highest MEV activity venue is of course on PancakeSwap with millions(!) being extracted weekly(!) I want to avoid dumping more graphs, but bottom line is that you have a rather high chance of experiencing financial loss while trading on BNB Chain. imo, BNB Chains responsibility lies in mandating validators to implement protective measures, or at least to some extent equalize the financial incentive they get from enabling MEV. Also working with wallet providers to promote MEV-protected RPCs is important. BNBChain's advantage always was being able to partially influence & control activity on-chain, and it has to take action on this privilege.
