The annual sports and cultural event of Motor Transport Department is inaugurated today by Hon State Minister of Transport Hon Smt Madhuri Misal at Balewadi Pune. Participants from all RTO offices in the States are participating in this event.

True. It’s a committee appointed as per the orders of Hon Bombay High Court to check the feasibility of phasing out the petrol and Diesel vehicle. The Committee is expected to submit the report to Hon Bombay High Court in 3 months. @PMOIndia @CMOMaharashtra @timesofindia
@volklub I dont think it's fair to blame the Govt. It's a directive from Bombay HC. We need to wait for the panel's recommendations.

Now most of the Transport Vehicles in Maharashtra can be Registered with Automobile dealers. No need to come to RTO office. Around 7 lakh to 8 lakh vehicles in this category are registered in Maharashtra every year. Non Transport Vehicles are already registered at dealer point.
