This kid is one of the toughest kids I have ever coached in my life.He played the whole season(unknown to most people) with a torn labrum in his shooting shoulder(found out 1 week befor the season).He wanted to finish off his career w/guys he has been with since kids. Tough AF

D1, D2, D3, NAIA, Juco, Prep school coaches hit me up. We have a lot of talented kids in the St. Louis area that you should be looking at for next year and years beyond. I know a lot of the players in/from the area. Also have some guys graduating from jucos and 4 year transfers.

Just a thought from my perspective but the schools in MIAA, GLVC, and other D2 conferences should be recruiting hard in the STL area. There are a bunch of kids that I believe would be successful & have an impact at some of those programs. A lot of kids are being under recruited

I'm in a better place mentally basketball wise. Getting my groove back. I'm a better coach than I have ever been. God sometimes takes away things to make you refocus and become better/stronger.

Tough loss last night to end our season. This is the most adversity that I have had to deal with as a coach (start practice Jan 4, no weekend practices, losing 3 starters due to transfer). One thing about my kids is they were resilient and got better throughout the year.

Irons is an 8-time champion in the state of Missouri, one of the elite high school coaches in the country. Irons also has experience coaching in the NIKE EYBL and USA Basketball.
