@koalafiedtesla @brandenflasch @AustyUSA @toads4everr @Fresh62610 I think car makers in the US started installing them before the regulations had been finalized, and got caught out when they couldn't comply because the timing requirements were such they couldn't meet them with existing hardware.

@phyde @koalafiedtesla Though they can be early signs of things going wrong. For example I got low coolant alerts in Service Mode ages before they were escalated up to the user level.

@koalafiedtesla There were lots of random people who mistakenly got added, unfortunately. I don’t remember the name of the site I used but I think it was originally to reduce harassment around Gamergate, TERFs, right-wing trolls etc.
