A very good question. It's not so much about foreseeing scandals as it is about being unaware, for years on end, of contemporaneous duplicity and sin in their midst. Any of us can be fooled, but how does it work when you claim prophetic clairvoyance into the lives of strangers?
A legitimate problem for many "prophetic ministries" is how to reconcile the idea that 1) they have constant, reliable access to detailed supernatural knowledge and 2) they repeatedly fail to foresee major scandals within their own movement.
