It’s 13 years since Betty entered our lives. Didn’t imagine she wouldn’t be here for this year’s anniversary walk.

Today should have been my 13th birthday. While I’m extremely miffed to miss out on whatever special snacks would have come my way, I’m glad that the hoomans are making preparations for a new arrival next week. Perhaps they’ll stop crying now #irreplaceable #NewPuppy

I’m tweeting from the beyond. They have iBones here too, you know. My hoomans are devastated that I’ve gone, but I just couldn’t battle through my illness. I tried, but I was just too tired. Remember. tails up, nose down and steal all the snacks you can.

I spent 3 days at the vet’s because my kidneys are not behaving at all well. Then I got phlebitis from the catheter. And the treatment hasn’t really worked. Apparently, that’s bad news. But I’m now getting homemade meals, so I reckon I’m a winner!

I’ve been making the humans suffer. Fooled them into thinking I was dying this morning, then perked back up once I saw the vet! All looking good for now. Paws crossed. What’s for dinner?
