@FionaAnnCummins I used to work in Southwark and going to Borough Market was a pay-day lunch time ritual. Monmonth coffee, a confit duck wrap and a decadent brownie. I miss it so much.

Reading a book (well-received, very good otherwise) in which the author describes an eight year old as a toddler and it’s just yanked me right out of the story 🙁

@Paradi5eLibrary Skip it. Agents and editors will just glance over it. Also, if it’s from a song, you’d be hard-pressed to include it in a published book, even as an epigraph. The copyright/fair use regulations around song lyrics are complex unless you get specific, often v expensive, permission
