@chrissyinspace Wow, that is really crazy, almost unbelievable haha! :D But awesome! Also, I think it's quite nice how you built your own admin panel to analyze all this stuff!

Mm yeah, I guess this is right to a point. But still, I think it will be more efficient to have at least a good idea of how to monetize the product later. Or even better, to have a few options. At least I will try to focus on that for the next thing I build. Because I have a lot of ideas and have already done stuff, but no idea how to make money with it then. So I'd rather focus on the ones that are easier to monetize ๐ค Does this make sense? :D

@d_miller_x Yeah okay, that's a big aspect as well, you're right haha :D Maybe it's a good mix?

@KeshavXDev Exactly. And even if you do not abandon your idea, you may spend a lot of time and effort to have a nice product in the end, but one that does not generate any revenue. That's fine as well. However, if you're looking to make money with it, a more strategic approach is needed.

@d_miller_x Depends on your intentions I would say. If you do it for fun yeah sure, nothing wrong with just building. I do this a lot as well. But if you seriously want to make a living from it, I think you need to answer these questions from the beginning.

Yes, you're right; finding out if you're solving an actual problem is the most important aspect. However, if you're seriously trying to make a living from it, answering the other questions becomes necessary. While jumping straight into building because you enjoy the process is great for a hobby, when it comes to a business, you need to address those other questions as well I think.

Thanks! Yeah, there are a lot of good possibilities for sharing your contact info. To get started, I chose the easiest one in my opinion: just a QR code in your Wallet app. No, I want to do something different from the competitors because there's nothing as simple as mine right now. You don't need to create an account or make recurring payments. You can just get what you need in the minimum amount of time with a one-time payment, and that's it! :D

@philkellr @robin_faraj That's really interesting and makes total sense. Thanks for the insights, Philipp!

@philkellr @robin_faraj Are you sure? I'm really not an expert on domain ratings at all, but it seemed to me that directory submissions had an impact. Especially bigger ones like Product Hunt, because other websites picked up the URL from there as well, providing me with a lot of backlinks in the end.

@kevinfengcs88 Yeah, I also prefer dark theme most of the time. But if the surrounding is very bright, it gets hard to read sometimes. Then I switch :D

@SquashVash Yeah, makes sense! For me, it gives me peace while working in a way. Often, if I just sit in front of my computer at my desk, I feel the desire to be somewhere else, "more beautiful." But if I'm already in a beautiful place, I can work peacefully ๐
