As an ethnic minority myself and co-author of this paper, I have experienced racism (being called all kinds of names), but when our teachers are doing well is handling discrimination by race, we should acknowledge it.

National pupil data suggest no evidence that ethnic minority students were more likely to be excluded compared to their White peers. This is good news. We should celebrate that, rather than perpetuating misinformation.
