Superb views of the Siberian Stonechat at Marske this afternoon. My second of this taxa in a week but always a pallid treat..

20 years ago today I was fortunate to see this fabulous Cream-coloured Courser on St Martin's IOS. After dipping the previous day on St Agnes I was grateful to @roxby_malcolm for booking me onto the first flight back to the islands the following am whilst I was still in the air!

Following on from an early morning Wryneck at South Gare I was very pleased to add these two scarce migrant moths to my County Durham list at RSPB Saltholme. The huge Convolvulus Hawk-moth and Delicate (3), the latter only the fourth county record.
