Most people I know that worked at Palantir told me last year that it was overvalued at $15 and that I should sell. They said the same thing to me at $70 this year. Most of them sold at $8. The irony is I made more from Palantir than most engineers did loading up 1 million shares at $6 last year. And I only had to wait a year vs 20+ years. I don’t think many people at Palantir saw the stock going over $100.

Robinhood is their biggest threat and it’s a big one bc Robinhood already has the full finance suite. Almost all boomer wealth will trickle into Robinhood over the next decade. If regulations become more lax and Robinhood can offer same coins, hard to see how Coinbase would survive. The only reason “normal” people use it now is bc they have exotics that Robinhood doesn’t have but 99% of non crypto people I know would much rather use Robinhood for everything. Full disclosure, I own large amounts of both companies. I really hope Coinbase does well but I also really hope Robinhood does well. A partnership between the companies could be interesting.
