@michaelsecom @WooCommerce There is an option to require "verified ownership" to leave a review; are you using that?

@NegashDev @WooCommerce This is specifically about the branding update. Tons of core updates coming this year though.

@mark_forrester @automattic @WooCommerce We wouldn't be here without the work you and the early crew put in: thank you for everything!

@tfol_sedso @WordPress @WooCommerce Perfect! Looking forward to hearing more. It sounds like a relatively complex (and fun!) project.

@kakutrei @WooCommerce Thanks for the direction; we're working on this actively! Are there any specific gaps or problems you're having? cc @jamesckemp @se_nadir @vedanshuJ

@chaseheckendorn @jamesckemp @KatieKeithBarn2 @mharis Interesting! Sounds like maybe the intersection of media handling and themes/display. We’ll see what we can figure out. Thanks again.

@chaseheckendorn @jamesckemp @KatieKeithBarn2 @mharis One more question if you don't mind -- when you say "make photos look better", are you referring to product/catalog photos you upload (resizing, image quality, etc)? Or something else?

@chaseheckendorn @jamesckemp @KatieKeithBarn2 @mharis Thank you, this sort of specific feedback is great, and actionable! I know you've made the switch (for now ;) ); FWIW we do have which provides a great checkout experience, and our block-based checkout is a dramatic upgrade from the shortcode version.

@chaseheckendorn @jamesckemp @KatieKeithBarn2 @mharis Hi Chase -- I'd love to learn more about your switch, if you're up for a call? I work on WooCommerce with @jamesckemp and as he said, we're always looking to improve the first time experience (and beyond, of course!)

@pmgarman @neke989 @DevelopWoo This is great feedback @pmgarman , and you're spot on with what we'd "lose" by moving away from that core WP table structure. Figuring out how to better manage the "extra data" (currently postmeta) would indeed likely be the biggest "bang for the buck" here.

@PoeHaH > 2) Which performance optimization can Woo still do that has a large enough impact? Possibly applying additional DB indexes to the core WP DB out of the box (or on demand), without structural changes. Also some promising caching additions.

@bichothu @DevelopWoo If you mean bulk editing, that is specifically something we're looking at (first for Orders, then probably for Products).

@neke989 @DevelopWoo We're looking for additional tweaks and improvements to make on top of HPOS, yep. We're also exploring some indexing, optimizing queries, and things like that. Right now we are not seeing the types of improvements from "HPPS" (Products) that would justify the size of the project.

@KatieKeithBarn2 Ah gotcha! Well... keep an eye out. Although I'll be very honest; we don't have remotely the advertising budgets that those competitors do. We rely on building a great product, and on the accessibility of a free core to get people hooked + talking about Woo.
