Newtown are delighted to announce the signing of striker Rackeem Reid. Reid joins the Robins to add pace and power to the front line as Newtown kick off their phase 2 on Friday evening Reid has previously experience in the Midlands with Telford, Hednesford and Rushall and goes straight into the Robins squad Callum Mackenzie - I’ve been speaking to Racks for a number of weeks and I’m delighted to get everything finalised. Racks is a direct, powerful, centre forward who’s scored goals at a good level in England. He will provide us with a different type of threat in the final third, one that I feel we’ve been missing in the first half of the season.

Our final transfer is Desean Martin who joins from Bedworth United. A combative midfielder will add present in the Robins middle and joins in time for Fridays opening Phase 2 fixture Desean will add competition in the centre of midfield which has been missing this season. He’ll compliment our other centre midfielders well as he brings something slightly different to what we already have.
