FOLKS WE MIGHT JUST BE BACK! Best home win of the year, Conte filled to the brim, the Mason Madsen game of a lifetime, huge hustle from Dev down the stretch, I never thought we’d get back here but here we are.
#NutDefended
This was the most fun we’ve had since Jerome and Ky were suiting up. Earl has me all the way bought in. The kids play hard and feed off each other. We got something cooking
Being told that Frank Martin will be the next coach at UMASS and Lamont Paris will get announced as the new head coach at South Carolina early this week. Earl remains in Chestnut Hill
I don’t like jumping into the football scene but breaking news is fun so here it is Notre Dame QB Phil Jurkovec - the
#83
recruit in the class of 2018 and
#4
overall dual threat QB will be transferring to BC with 3 years of eligibility. Have at it

JZ deserves a ton of credit for sticking with the program for 3 years. Could have easily bounced after over preforming in year one and Markwood’s departure. His loyalty to a program that he had no prior ties to - in an age where that’s hard to come by is admirable. Good luck JZ.
Thanks for coming out folks, from 9-3 to 11-8 in the blink of an eye. Unless you think there’s a miracle two week run coming after Duke this will go down as the most disappointing BC season in more than a decade.
Somebody tell the NET we comin. Dominate down the stretch to pick up win number 8. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again this team is different. Monster stat line from Post. Clutch performances from Chas, Mason, Donny and Claud. I’m flying.
The sole goal of this account was to get more people to give a shit about BC Basketball. The way students showed up tonight reminded me of when I would go to games when I was a kid. Truly unreal for a Monday night in November. To everyone who wore the merch it means the world.
I don’t necessarily think we can win the ACC tournament. But I also don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility. Just an unreal win, the type of stuff that can turn a program around.
Three up, three down. This team is different. Tell your friends, tell your roommate, tell the chick in your chemistry class. Harvard Saturday.

We own ACC victory number one to two men and two men only - Claudell Harris and Devin McGlockton. Big basket, after big basket the duo delivered. Wasn’t pretty to start, but in the end we live to fight another day. 30 (!!) from Dev. Need the same energy on Wednesday night.
It won’t go unnoticed how when Fairfield made a little run we stepped up and buried them. Best opening night performance in a long time. Dominant on both ends.
Survive and advance. Never a doubt, after a full 39:15 of doubt. Bring the same energy on Saturday, we’re going to need all the noise we can get. Righted the ship, defended the nut. We’re alive, but barely breathing.
There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best roster we have had in more than a decade. Should have a consensus first team All-ACC player, a lead guard with nearly 70 games under his belt, Prince/Glock/Chas all in year two, two high ceiling frosh, and Hand fully healthy.
Two in a row to right the ship and get us right to the edge of being alive again. Really good performances out of Claudell, Chas, and JZ who all made big buckets to keep Syracuse at bay. We live to ride another day.
Morehead was terrible but this shows Hafley isn’t the guy. Morehead threw the ball 6 times, there’s no way he was bad enough in 6 throws to warrant being benched. If you knew he stunk don’t start him. Another example of Hafley not being ready
In the end it came down to legs. This team fought for every minute, but just didn’t have the energy to will a victory. Really proud of how we fought, but this is why it’s so important to get out of the Tuesday game.
Easy win to finish non-conf at 9-2, and improve to 9-3 on the year. Claudell with one of the better games by a BC guard since the Ky/Jerome days to lead the way. Another extended break before a busy start to January. 16% off the merch from 9 to 12 tonight with the code LEHIGH.
Happy for QP, know how much this meant to him and how he wanted to be a role model for the kids back home. Should have an opportunity to make an impact on a really strong team. Anytime you get a guy drafted it’s good for the program.
Four for four. Did everything we needed to do down the stretch and came away with another victory. Best start in 15 years. This team is different. Kansas City won’t know what hit ‘em.

Here's where we stand we've got message board geniuses saying that BoB skipped out on an OSU engagement today and we've got a whole bunch of smoke around AW. Both have been said to be en route to Boston which means the only logical conclusion is a duel at the 50 in Alumni.
BC jumps to 74 in the NET after the win yesterday, bolstered by St. John’s road win over Villanova which bumped them up to 31. Syracuse currently sits just one spot behind BC with Clemson continuing to tumble down to 24 from as high as 13.
Last 8 minutes weren’t pretty, but the ship is back on course. Have to get to five to get to six. BIG one inside

At the end of the day a win is a win. For most of the past decade we lose that game. In order to be a good team you have to be able to win on the road when your top guy has an off night and we did that. Wednesday night we ride again.
#DefendTheNut
Three big highlights tonight 1. Prince did everything he needed to do to make this team a winning one. 2. Huge bounce back game from Mason 3. JZ’s defense was elite. Took their best player on paper right out of it.
A win tonight cements this season as a success and gives the program real momentum going into next season. Plenty of work left to do, but three ranked wins and a 33% bump in conference wins is huge step in the right direction.
#WhyNutUs
One of the most likable, hard nosed players to come through BC in my lifetime. Will always feel like he gave this team everything he could. Hard nosed, got better, stayed the course. Way to be JZ
Never forget that Jaeden Zackery bet on himself. No offers out of high school? Take a prep year. Still no interest? Develop at a JUCO. His story is one of intense self-belief and perseverance. Should be a fan favorite for the next three years.
That’ll do it folks. Caught a second wind last week, but just a terrible showing this week. Had to have better game plans against teams we’ve already seen and just didn’t.
This team is so much better than anything we’ve seen since Jerome. This is the defensive intensity we all expected from Gritty Not Pretty. Similar to The Citadel, we’ve been the significantly better team for the bulk of the game tonight.
Really tough loss, my first thought is feel for these guys who have to fly commercial back east after that. Really good effort from Post tonight. Going to miss him more than any player in a long time. Bright spot from Eli Strong. Brutal effort down the stretch to end the season.
17-14, given where this program has been nine out of the last ten years, is unquestionably a success. Is it as good as it could have been? No, but have to start somewhere. Even with a loss on Tuesday finishing at 17-15 is progress.
I want to take this time to say James Karnik has proven every single doubter wrong, myself included. Put in the work and cleaned up the shot selection. Been absolutely nails today, was nails in Clemson. Great kid by all accounts, couldn’t be happier. Have a day James!
Merry Christmas to all the

Lost in the win tonight is DeMarr’s development as a point guard. Only had 4 points BUT added 8 assists, 7 rebounds, 2/2 from the stripe, and only turned it over one time in 36 minutes. The offense is markedly better with him on the ball and JZ/Makai off of it.
No part of me thought this was coming, every picks article I had read had somebody else. Huge congrats to QP. Put in the work and the whole league noticed.
Chance to grab a quality win today. Miami is reeling & BC matches up well. Some gameday notes - Bill O’Brien expected to attend, BC honoring 1994 Elite 8 team, retiring John Austin’s jersey, free tees for students, it’s Black History Month game, & being told it’s a near sellout.
One final note on this run, if you thought I was in on Chas before it’s even worse now. Kid was engaged, vocal, and helping the guys on the floor every minute of each game. The ultimate test of you as a teammate is how you are in those spots. Huge character move. PG1 next year
Lot and I mean a lot of buzz about BC potentially landing two or three top 100 kids next year. Turns out kids do want to play in a pro system, in America’s best conference, for coaches who genuinely care, and be a part of an extremely tight knit team.
"I would love to create a culture at BC where fans are engaged with basketball and they have an understanding - maybe more so than a casual fan at any other school." -

on his most recent vlog. Preach.
Andy Jick likely called every game we’ve ever attended. From Tyrese Rice, to Sean Marshall, Jared Dudley to Troy Bell and everyone else along the way his voice was a staple of home games inside Conte Forum. RIP Andy
The front runner in Florida transfer Kowacie Reeves commitment is Boston College, sources tell me.
Reeves averaged 8.5 points a game on 37.7% shooting from the field.
At the end of the day all I want is upward trajectory. Surpassed last year’s ACC win total with three games left - two of which we should have a real shot in. Good win today
Would grade this a C at best. Hasn’t been able to stay on the floor against low majors, let alone high majors where - and you can’t make this up - he has fouled out EVERY SINGLE GAME last year.
You don’t make NCAA Tournaments by winning these first two games but you sure as hell miss them because of losing them. Right where we want to be. Road to twenty is still in view.
