I agree with you. But also agree it’s more than an economic issue. When Reagan closed all of the mental health institutions, people had no where to go and there are no safety nets for these people. Lots of mental health issues on the streets. We fail our own regularly.

My aunt died just shy of her 65th birthday from ALS. She waited her whole life to go to Italy. Her and my uncle were going as soon as they retired. I decided right then I wasn’t waiting for anything. That was when I was in my early 20’s. Live now. Nothing is guaranteed.
