It's embarrassing watching people call funded trader programs 'prop trading.' They are NOT the same thing.

Screen time matters, but only after you understand what you're actually trying to accomplish and how to measure it. Without a testable framework, what exactly are you gaining from screen time? Random observations? Learning through osmosis? It's equivalent to saying the #1 factor for getting really good at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is watching matches. No—you need to understand the fundamental principles first, then drill them with purpose. Otherwise you're just collecting hours and hoping something sticks.

Had a junior trader running 6 strategies generating impressive returns. When we broke down his book, 2 strategies carried ~81% of returns with better risk metrics. The others weren't adding diversification—just diluting edge. Thankfully, he tracked individual strategy metrics. Most traders run their book like a black box. Imagine that in any other field—like the CEO of a PE firm telling investors ‘Look, the portfolio is doing great!’ without knowing how each business contributes to performance. They'd obviously be laughed out of the room. The best traders obsessively categorize their strategies. It's really the only way to do it. They understand correlations to major risk factors, cross strategy relationships, and precise contribution to the aggregate book. If you can't precisely articulate why each strategy deserves capital allocation, you're running blind. You can't improve or scale what isn't measured.

You're confusing a surface feature (assessments) for the actual business model. We make money from institutional trading. The assessment is just one path to our desk. They sell cheap leverage and 2 day evaluations. You can't evaluate anything about a trader in 2 days except their ability to gamble. Look at their commissions—they're not built to scale real traders. They don't care who passes or if you ever grow. We're looking for talent. They're selling dreams. Different universes.

@Coldbrewtrades @ES_F_Leo @TradeifyFunding @Topstep @MyFundedFutures @Tradovate @CQGInc The answer is that CQG is the data feed for most platforms you know about. NT, TradingView, etc.

@DanSchenkLife @SaroTrades @Raentrading Yes, we're US-based. The 20% target isn't harsh—there's no time pressure to hit it, take as long as needed. Our team consistently hit that many times over in testing. It was going to be 35%

This fundamentally misunderstands both passive income leverage and knowledge transfer economics. Someone who’s mastered making money understands better than anyone the value of time leverage. Creating scalable knowledge assets is a natural extension of value creation. Naseem Taleb’s risk course and Lance’s Magnum Opus are perfect examples. These aren't people who started teaching because they couldn't trade—Lance has made tens of millions trading, it’s well documented. Are there charlatans? Absolutely. But dismissing all knowledge transfer because ‘real players don’t teach’ shows a profound misunderstanding of value creation. p.s. No, I don't have a course to sell you. p.p.s. Naval doesn't actually believe this—he's too smart. It's engagement farming.

Nobody who’s actually good at making money needs to sell you a course on it.

A breach of either the daily loss limit OR the max drawdown limit is considered a violation that requires a reset. While you might have multiple days of smaller drawdowns (like $1K) that keep you within your overall account parameters, exceeding either limit at any point triggers a violation. You have an absolute floor at $92k (8k max drawdown from starting balance). Even if you're managing smaller daily losses, letting the account drop below this threshold is a violation.

@Thormaz2 Yes, a DLL violation would mean one failed the attempt. You would have to reset the account.

Here's what you're missing. Seasoned traders join us directly—no assessment, no fees. Just like our entire senior desk did. We're choosing to give unproven retail traders a shot at institutional capital. That risk has a cost. We could easily stick to universities and established firms.

Real earnings begin when you reach our junior trading desk. You'll progress through Phase 1 (assessment) and Phase 2 (assessment/development) before starting with live capital. Once trading, we offer 100% profit withdrawal on your first payout to incentivize account growth, with on-demand processing after that.
