Our 6th senior to be recognized is Tysaac Noland. Tysaac is a 3 year starter at catcher for the Mavs and will be playing baseball at Neosho next fall. His favorite ⚾️ memory is his two 💣 game against Ark City. Good luck next season Tysaac. Thank you seniors, you will be missed!

The Mavericks hire Garrett Gould as their new pitching coach. A 2009 Maize graduate and Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year, Garrett was selected in the 2nd round of the 2009 draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He has a wife (Taylor, teaches at MSMS) and daughter (Finley).

Our Grinders of the Games are @Isaac_Epp who picked up another win with 6 hits and 8 Ks in game 1. Sophomore Luke Youngdahl threw a complete game in game 2 with 6 Ks 1 run throwing 14 pitches per inning in a 2-1 ball game. The Mavericks move to 7-1 on the season.
