Our 6th senior to be recognized is Tysaac Noland. Tysaac is a 3 year starter at catcher for the Mavs and will be playing baseball at Neosho next fall. His favorite ⚾️ memory is his two 💣 game against Ark City. Good luck next season Tysaac.

The Mavericks hire Garrett Gould as their new pitching coach. A 2009 Maize graduate and Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year, Garrett was selected in the 2nd round of the 2009 draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He has a wife (Taylor, teaches at MSMS) and daughter (Finley).

As we sit here and process the information handed down from Governor Kelly, our hearts break for the young men who have spent time in the off season to continue the rich tradition of our program. To our seniors, thank you for your unselfish leadership this last year & 2 weeks....
Our 1st senior is captain Dylan Epke. Dylan will be playing baseball at Kansas Wesleyan in the fall and major in pre-physical therapy. A favorite memory of Dylan's is the friendships he has made with other baseball players. Thank you Dylan for your 4 years as a Maverick.

who picked up another win with 6 hits and 8 Ks in game 1. Sophomore Luke Youngdahl threw a complete game in game 2 with 6 Ks 1 run throwing 14 pitches per inning in a 2-1 ball game. The Mavericks move to 7-1 on the season.

Our next senior up is Jayce Meyer. Jayce will be attending Ft. Hays State in the fall where he will also pitch for the Tigers in the spring. His favorite MSHS memory was pitching against some of his buddies from Lawrence High last year. Thank you for your 4 years as a Maverick.
