WBA’s Rondon named Newcastle Player of the Season. Newcastle’s Gayle named WBA Player of the Season. Seems like the swap worked for both parties.

THE Albion Founder Members of the Football League. THE Albion 82 seasons in top flight. Brighton seasons in top flight 9. THE Albion FA Cups wins 5. Brighton zero. THE Albion have also won the top flight title. How many have B&H won?
Can't believe some of the moaning from Albion fans. I thought we did ok last night. Tried to play it on the deck rather than hoof. A bit laboured 1st half against a team that parked the bus. Much quicker tempo 2nd half. We're beginning to sound like arrogant, deluded Villa fans.

Finish top and we stay at Wembley. 2nd and we have to travel. Recall some saying playing Iceland in the next round was easy... worked out well. Keep winning. Finish top. Keep the confidence high.
If the price of getting Allardyce on a short term deal means Premier League survival, Lai being able to sell us, and new owners coming in with a bit of investment... is that a price worth paying?
So rather than strengthen we've loaned Mowatt to a rival and sold Robinson to a fellow Championship club to bring in a League 2 player and out of contract player who has barely played a game in 2 years. You couldn't make it up.

One the greatest ever Briton. The other an evil dictator who ended up cowardly topping himself rather than facing the consequences of his actions
Am I the only Albion fan who is far less confident of our prospects this season than I was 12 months ago? We seem to be losing quality players and have no money (or FFP not allowing us to spend) to replace them with. On top of the fact we are still desperately shy of a striker.
So 2nd bottom Huddersfield now level on points with us with a game in hand. Bottom placed Coventry have 3 games in hand on us. How low do we have to sink before they act?

Isn't that a contradiction? Independent... but tied to another union. Or does Scotland have more in common with Greece and Poland than Wales or Northern Ireland?
@NFFC
Fully deserved? You had 1 shot on target all game. Dirtiest side I've seen at the Hawthorns all season. And Albion denied a clear goal at the end.
My 80 year old season ticket holding dad, on his own since my mom (a fellow Albion fanatic) passed away 2 years ago, has just had a call from Graham Williams, Albion's 1966 League Cup and 1968 FA Cup winning captain. Great touch from the

So Mowbray, with a wage budget massively smaller than what Ismael has at Albion, has them now 4 points above us. Meanwhile Wilder is massively improving Boro who sit just 2 points behind us.
@Scotland
I'm confused. Why are the SNP so keen to leave one union. But so keen to rejoin another? Or does it simply come down to anti English prejudice?
One defeat all season....
Tonight was really poor. But given the lack of backing he's received (having to loan out Mowatt and looks like we'll have to sell Robinson just to fund a loan or 2) Bruce has some sympathy from me.
@talkSPORTDrive
Accuses the club who have done more than any other for black people in football of racism. Gets called out by their fans. Calls it paranoia. Remind me how many black presenters there are at Talksport? Perhaps you need to look closer to home.
For those who say

are irrelevant. Only Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle, Everton, Chelsea and Villa have played in more FA Cup Finals than us. Man City have an identical record to us. Played 10. Won 5. Lost 5.

Plymouth were arguably the best side Albion have faced this season (and that includes a Leeds side who came to park the bus).

It works in demand led inflation. But consumer demand is shrinking. Inflationary pressures are external (gas price). Raising inflation will do nothing to tackle that. It will simply exacerbate the recession.
Points per game over this season:
Bruce 0.85 (over a season bottom with 39 points).
Beale 1 (over a season would put us 21st, 2 points above 3rd bottom Reading).
Corberán 1.73 (over a season would put us joint 3rd on 80 with Luton)

Apparently this is Albion's longest unbeaten home record (from season start) since 1897-1898. Feels strange given the poor standard of football and tactics we are seeing.
