Kano State [under the leadership of Governor Abba K. Yusuf] is taking a step towards reviving Agriculture with more effort needed for the upcoming season and beyond. Kano has recently launched an ambitious irrigation farming project covering 250,000 hectares in Kafinchiri and other parts of the state, aiming to boost all-season farming and improve food production. Additionally, the state has kicked off two major projects, the distribution of farm inputs to agricultural organizations through the Ministry of Agriculture and the disbursement of over ₦400 million to 10 communities organizations via ACRESAL for sustainable agriculture initiatives. Following this, from June 2015 to March 2016, Ibrahim held the position of Permanent Secretary for the Administration and General Services Directorate. Notably, he served as acting Secretary to the State Government during annual leaves in 2013 and 2014, underscoring the trust and confidence placed in him by the state leadership.
