A new doc on Netflix called ‘My Lover, My Killer’ (S2E5) features my aunt and cousin talking about the events of that night and leading up to it. (1/2)

I got my cat, Millie in September. She has been my everything through this hell hole of the last few months. We rescued her from a centre. We’re having some issues with her toileting but she’s my world and I couldn’t see life without her now. ❤️(she isn’t that grumpy 😂)

Today has been a huge day. My lead practitioner listened to everything I had to say. I’m finally having EUPD removed and changed to C-PTSD, an autism assessment in the works and she’s going to refer for EMDR. I could honestly cry. This is a massive win.

A year ago I took an attempt on my own life, and was subsequently kicked out of my flat by my old flat mates the day I came out of hospital because of this.
Today I’m sat in my own little flat, and I’m moving to brighton with my best friend in March.

LOL so I ended up in A&E today and the psych liaison looked me dead in the eye and said ‘has anyone ever assessed you for autism?’
as a matter of fact, no. because they won’t listen 🥲. this lady was a fucking hero tho and she’s gonna write to my team about it.
Spent the last 4 years trying to get my EUPD diagnosis removed, to which I’m constantly told I lack ‘insight’. I have asked for a reassessment, potentially for CPTSD or autism - all of which have been ignored.
So if anyone has any advice…

A year ago today I was readmitted to an inpatient ward where I was under 15 minute watches. I was struggling to see how I was going to live.

I hate that people sensationalise and almost romanticise true crime. Remember there are victims and families in all this whose worlds have been ripped apart.
im so glad people are finally realizing that all true crime "content" does is fear monger and disrespect victims. & shes absolutely right, most of these victims are women and girls brutalized at the hands of men.
