Starlight being extremely magically gifted despite never going to Canterlot or ever being mentored by Celestia was always such a cool way to explore and expand the world of Equestria.
I like to think this is probably the most successful Cutie Mark spell in the history of Equestria, as she was able to change two ponies cutie mark without any of the consequences we've seen before from doing that like the mane 6 forgetting who they are in the season 3 finale

I've always liked that Fluttershy was more in tune with the earth than the skies. Or how Pinkie is so extreme, zipping around doing crazy things with no physical appendage helping her. it's a quirk I really like and feel like it's wasted in a species swap.
