Scene: I’m discussing my homework with @carmenjyuen and @mattknox : Me: my TEACHER said I was wrong, and I don’t eat lunch at 12:10 AM. D: yeah, 12 noon is PM ME: what? PM is EVENING! D: what? I don’t understand the physical of life.

Scene: we are heading home from a long day of fencing, and I’m running the music. Me (staring at music’s screen, playing @katseyeworld ). This is my sixth favorite song! (Editors note: “touch” scores much higher)

Scene: dad just hung out with his friends Astha and Martin. D: Astha really loves all three of you, by the way. Me: Yeah. What else would she love? Martin? A house? A brick? Of course she loves us.

Scene: dad wants to sit next to @SkyllaKnox so he can talk about what is wrong: D: Aysa, can I switch seats with you? Me: yeah, at a stop light. I don’t want to break the rules of physical life D(laughing): ima tweet that.

Scene: dad is brushing my hair and D: how did I get such a cool kid? Me: because you have such cool instincts. D: laughs Me: go tweet that.

Dad: who’s my little angel? Me: Me! Dad (smiling): that’s right! Me: Also Skylla! Dad: true! Me: although sometimes she’s a little devil, too! Dad: True. True.

Scene: the discussion has turned to noses. @SkyllaKnox says that @zyraknox’s noses is really cute, and that mine is like hers. Dad’s nose enters. Me: your nose scares me sometimes, dad. D: why? Me: It’s big and broken and looks like it has an m&m stuck in it!

Scene: I’m eating a donut and wiggling a very loose tooth. @mattknox : do you want to just yoink it out? Me: NO! Let my tooth have its time!

Scene: I’m listening to “all I want for Christmas is you” and love the sound but find the repetitive lyrics kinda mid. Me: She’s so famous-why didn’t she just practice a little more?

WHAT? “Stargazing” is up now? Best. Day. Evar.

Scene: I’m cleaning my thermos with hot soapy water: Me: I’m breeeEEEEwing a POOOOtion!

Scene: dad is getting us ready to go to summer school. We need lunch containers. Dad: where are the thermoses? Me: (having already seen them, but kept it a secret): I KNOW!! I KNOW!! They’re right THERE! (Points through a pile of kitchen collateral) (Dad looks) but how?

Scene: I’m helping @mattknox understand the breadth of his powers: Me: You have super strength! And ultra mega balls! And kiss attack!
