He should have defined the currency. Anytime I lend someone money (if they ask in Naira I tell them they have to pay me back in pounds equivalence because I use pounds). May God settle their matter
Some guy lent his friend N1M to pay for a £1000 international exam in the UK. He sent it as £1k exchanged via an app to N1M. Then £1=N1000. Last month, the guy wanted to repay the money and he paid back N1M but at this point £1=N2000. Dude refused to take the N1M. He wants his money as £1000. Their friendship has gone sour because of this. This is what happens when you don’t clearly define your financial transactions.
