Reason number 2, once you start cvtting deeper nothing will ever feel deep enough. The urge to go deeper and deeper will get worse every time you cvt, till the point you’re bleeding out or have severe nerve damage. NOTHING WILL EVER BE ENOUGH THIS IS AN ADDICTIVE BEHAVIOUR.

Reason number 4, The scars will always be there. I know a lot of you want your scars to be as bad as possible but if you recover one day it will be a constant reminder (can even be triggering) of the pain and you will always feel judged when having them uncovered in public.

Reason number 1 and most important, RISK OF INFECTION.
You’ve heard this all before but there’s a reason everyone talks about it. Infections can be life threatening and even if it’s caught early and you’re given antibiotics there’s a chance antibiotics will stop working for you.

Reason number 3, healing time. When cvts are deep they can take up to a month or even more to heal. The healing process is gross and sometimes even painful. It’s not something for the faint of heart and definitely not something you want go through for extended periods of time.
