Personal announcement: my wife is the strongest fighter I've ever known. After 3 days of all kinds of complications she was able to bring our first child into the world last night nearly 4 weeks early.
I'm beyond grateful to say both are resting and recovering beautifully.

But he's a better coach than leader, and in the NBA you need more of the latter.

Teammates quit on each other; coach quit on them; management/ownership quit on the team.
Jazz, on paper, were built well enough to do what Denver just did.
Egos & selfishness won out in Utah while Denver set all egos aside & quietly went to work.
I think it's totally fair for Rudy to look at the west and see the Warriors falter, LeBron look old and busted, Memphis fall apart late, Miami coming out of the East and think "Yeah, why did we blow this up again?"
And hindsight being 20/20, he may have a point.
