The mission here is simple: A single, awesome experience for every serverless compute service. Next, we'll quickly add on more services/providers.
🚀 Introducing the Serverless Container Framework It's time for flexibility in serverless. One solution to develop, deploy, and migrate between serverless platforms—without rearchitecting. Highlights: • Seamless Deployment – Deploy to AWS Lambda & AWS ECS Fargate with one solution. • Flexible Compute – Mix & switch platforms instantly, no rewrites or downtime. • Awesome Local Dev Experience – True Lambda & Fargate emulation, hot module reloading, live IAM testing. • Production-Ready – Full API out-of-the-box, w/ VPC, ALB, SSL, and more. • Tried & True Containers – Stable, reliable, simple container focus. No bleeding edge, no distractions. Join our webinar to learn more. Or use it now (links in replies).

Serverless Framework tried to offer a great multi-cloud solution for FaaS, but the providers varied too much to abstract. Things are different now, and we’re going for it again, better than before. This will be the ultimate framework for flexibility, without the weight of k8s.
I'm digging into the new Serverless Container Framework, and it's looking good! You can switch between Lambda and Fargate without rewriting your app, which is a game changer. I've only tried out their example projects, and they work as advertised. I can switch an API from Lambda to Fargate with a one-liner config change without touching the application code. It only works with APIs and auto-generates an ALB for you. Interestingly, it doesn't use CloudFormation anymore - maybe they're looking to support different cloud providers better? I still need to spend more time with it and get my thoughts around some of the decisions it's taken. But this is looking good as a first step. Here's a short intro video: and launch blog post: and docs:

@TobiM @TastefulElk Just curious, are these projects for businesses over the revenue threshold ($2M) of the new v4 license, or are these personal projects/early-stage start-ups?

@eldsjal fwiw, I'd pay for the same watching-time model for films. China has been doing this for a while.
